Hollow
Penniless paupers we,
Blind men upon the sea.
Guilty, we footnote life,
Charmed by a wanton wife.

Pass the time wishing away,
Slapped in the face by today;
Catch me I'm falling I think,
"Courage man, give him a drink."

Live it up tragically,
Laughing, she might not see
Shadows of tears in your eyes,
As something behind them dies.
